1. What ZakGeld is

ZakGeld is a household tool for tracking pocket money, rewards and chore-based earnings inside your own family. It is not a bank, not a money-transmission service, and does not move real money between users.

2. Fees

A once-off access fee of R10 is payable on signup, processed by PayFast. During our beta the fee may be waived; you'll be informed clearly before any charge is made.

3. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your password safe and for the activity under your account. You must be 18 or older to create a family account. Users you invite under the age of 18 use the service under your supervision.

4. Acceptable use

Don't use ZakGeld to abuse, harass or deceive other household members. Don't attempt to bypass security or access data outside your family account.

5. Data and privacy

Our Privacy Policy (POPIA) explains what we collect and why. Read it here.

6. Availability and changes

We aim for high availability but ZakGeld is provided “as is” without warranty. We may update, change or discontinue features; we'll give reasonable notice before removing anything material.

7. Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes liability we cannot exclude by South African law. Otherwise our total liability is limited to the fees you've paid us.

8. Law

These terms are governed by South African law. Courts of South Africa have exclusive jurisdiction.
